The content of this website is based on my 35+ years of experience and research into the area of diet and exercise.

after.jpgFascinated with food from early childhood, I began my training and experience with food, nutrition, and diets in 1973. In the fall of that year, I took a job with the dietary department of a local hospital, learning, preparing, and serving specialized diets for hospital patients. After working there for over a year, I quit to attend college where I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Mathematics and Spanish, and a Master’s of Science in Accountancy. Upon entering the business world in late 1978, I once again turned my attention (informally) to the area of diet and exercise, primarily due to my continuing struggles with being overweight.

For over 35 years, I studied trends in diet and exercise, reading books and current research on diet, exercise and weight loss. I earned a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies (focused on the process of personal transformation). And while I earned my Certified Public Accountant certificate and went on to enjoy great success in the business world, I continued to fail again and again at achieving any significant long-lasting weight loss.

Using myself as the test subject, I tried everything – the grapefruit and eggs diet, the Cabbage Soup diet, Pritikin, Scarsdale, the Zone, Atkins, The Carbohydrate Addict’s Diet, Low-Fat Living, the Blood Type Diet, Weight Watchers, South Beach, Curves, etc. You name it I tried it – all with varying degrees of initial success, but no lasting weight loss achievement.

As a result of all these years of yo-yo dieting, I arrived (in December 2005) at a weight of 200+ pounds on my 5’5” frame. With a waist greater than 35 inches and a family history of diabetes and hypoglycemia, I decided something had to be done – something that actually worked long-term!

You can read about my story of success in my e-book, Right Food Right You (a $20 value that is free when you sign up for my newsletter), but essentially I found the answer in identifying and adjusting my eating to avoid the foods I tested sensitive to.

As a result of my lasting weight loss success, I have done additional research into the area of food sensitivities and now have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with those who are interested in learning more about this topic. If you are someone who is interested in lasting weight loss success without surgery, pills, other more extreme measures, then please sign up for my newsletter and get the free e-book. Your Right You awaits!
